Problems with my new FPD2185W

I just got the the new Gateway FPD2185 and have it hooked up to my computer over DVI. The problem is that after the monitor is on for about a minute the screen goes black, it doesnt say that it lost signal, it doesnt respond to any of the menu buttons, and the led still remains blue for on. When i turn the monitor off and then back on the picture is back but then after a minute(sometimes only 10 seconds) it goes away again. Does it on VGA too. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Should i just exchange it for a new one? By the way, for the minute or so that it works....its freakin awesome.

Might be overheating? Not sure. Is your room really hot or are you in a tight corner or anything?

No, its in my living room in an open area. It was doing it out of the box last night and then right away when it was off all day today.

Well id say return it but maybe wait for someone who has this monitor to post? Kinda sucks when things like this happen =/

No clue, never had that happen with mine. Definately return it for a new one.
