Just recently when I was watching a replay in wc3, about 40 minutes into it, the whole system locked up and the sound started to loop. This has happened before but I never really payed any attention to it because I thought it might've been just a one time thing. Another weird thing that happens is sometimes during games, I would completely lose my sound and when i go check the nvidia control panel, I would see all 6 bars under speaker output levels full and when I try to change any of the volumes, the system would lock up. I'm currently using the 4.31 drivers with 4.08 control panel. I've tried other drivers also but the same problem happens. Now I just checked my irq assignments, and I see that audio and usb are both sharing irq 20 and 22:
IRQ 20 Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller OK
IRQ 20 NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) Audio Codec Interface OK
IRQ 21 Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller OK
IRQ 22 Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller OK
IRQ 22 NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM) MCP Audio Processing Unit (Dolby(R) Digital) OK
Can this be the source of my problems, or can there be other causes?
