Problems with leadtek 6600gt - HELP :(

i recently got a leadtek 6600gt as an upgrade from a 5200. i installed card correctly(driver cleaner,latests drivers, etc) but computer isnt acting right. when i access card settings from advanced tab in display properties it locks up when i try to exit out and i get rundll error. also when playing world of warcraft with very conservative settings(12x7 medium terrain distance) i frequently get fps drops down to 1 fps where im unable to do anything but log out and restart game. at first i thought it was a bad card so i tried it in another computer and it was fine. i rma'd it anyways to newegg and got a replacement and its doing the exact same thing. also when i try to run 3dmark i get artifacting on 2nd test and it crashes with out of video memory error. im stumped and was hoping someone could help me out. everything is perfectly fine when i reinstall 5200. what gives?

2 GB corsair ram

Brand and wattage please.

Also, did you use driver cleaner before you installed drivers for the 6600 GT?
 
Just curious if you plugged the video card directly to the power supply w/ its own dedicated line? You want to if you haven't. Check your BIOS and make sure the AGP settings are correct.
