Hey outthere ..

I have just switched from AMD Opteron 180 to Intel C2D E6600.

My problem is that i get the same kind of "stutter" in Ravenshield as i did with the AMD

my question is now ... are there a fix for Intel cpu's in game like the one You guys made for the AMD Dualcore Cpus ?

tha In Advance ...

Ps. i have tried to look in your forum but couldnt find any thing about it

did you do a clean install? (recommend do that if you haven't)

How much ram do you have? (2Gb needed for best gaming)

what videocard & in game settings are you running?

Those are my 3 guesses:
1 - bad software/drivers - need to clean it out with a fresh install
2 - not enough ram, so your CPU is having to go to harddrive (causing stuttering)
3 - maybe your videocard just can't handle the resolution/settings you're trying to run

yeah i did an clean install ...

i have 2 GB ram and i have the EVGA 8800GTS KO running at 1680x1050 and i know the card can do that :O) even my old X850XT could do it

Well there go my 3 guesses.... right out the window.

Do you have the CPU overclocked?

If not, try overclocking it to 3Ghz+ to see if that smoothes it out.

It could just be poor coding. Some games drop to ridiculously low fps in certain situations no matter how fast your videocard / CPU.

Also try turning down the graphic details a little just to see what happens.
