Problems with connection dropping on Netgear WGT624v3

It seems like every 6 hours or so, my Netgear WGT624v3 drops its connection. My cable modem is a Motorola Surfboard on Comcast.net. Has anybody had this problem? I hate to call Netgear because they are support Nazis, but its getting pretty annoying.
