I installed my Abit KN8 into my new Coolermaster 810. That seemed to go OK. But when I tried to put my sound card and vid card in the slots, they don't seem to fit properly. The motherboard appears to be sitting too low in the case. I used the motherboard risers that came with the CM 810. The tab on the bottom of the slot cover for the cards does not seem to want to fit properly into the tabs at the bottom of each slot. The cards want to sit at an angle in my motherboard. The top of the slot covers for the cards seems to be touching the top of the slot but at an angle. However, the card does not make contact all the way down the back of the slot, only at the bottom. At the top it is wants to push away from the slot. I can't put a screw in the top of the card because the card is at an angle and offset from the screw about three millimeters.

I looked at the backplate where all my connectors for mouse, keyboard, etc go and everything seems to be about 2 millimeters too low in the case also. But, I can still plug everything into those connectors, but it just looks a little low. So, that's what got me thinking it might be that the motherboard is sitting too low in the case. The only thing I can think of is to go buy some small washers and jack up all of the motherboard mounts a couple of millimeters. Maybe I'll try a local computer place and see if they have some higher motherboard risers.

Has anyone else had this problem before or know what to do?

I fixed my problem with my graphics card and sound card not fitting correctly in the expansion slots. First, I discovered that the little loops of metal at the bottom of the slots are too small for the expansion cards. So, I had to take a knife and bend them out some so that the tabs on the bottom of the card slot covers would fit. Next, I discovered that the motherboard standoffs they supplied were too short. So, I had to buy some small washers and put them under all of the motherboard standoffs so that the motherboard would install properly. The graphics card and audigy are fitting fine now.

I experienced same problem. I was using my PC with VGA not perfectly fited to M/B.
I found many poeple have same priblem in my country , some broke his VGA
and M/B because of what VGA and M/B weren't connected properly.

So I stop using PC in that condition. I solved this problem by changing my chassis.
Somene said that he had his stacker exchanged at retail shop , but it dodn't work. :(
