Just picked up a 2 month old ZS, paired with Logitech z5300e's. Originally I installed everything on the application CD, but it seemed the more I tinkered, the worse it sounded. So I uninstalled everything and installed just the drivers. Games that support 3D audio aren't detecting the rear speakers whatsoever, and the volume on the rears seems low overall (in music, movies, games). To top it off, there are some intermittent crackling noises during certain parts of games. I believe everything is set correctly in control panel and the switch on the sub is on 5.1. Suggestions?

Just realized this thread got a couple replies.
I uninstalled all the extra app's, mixers, etc, and just installed the driver. I think I've got the sound problems taken care of for the most part, but I've been getting the error below ever since I stuck the card in.

I think this thread is another testament to Creative's poorly coded drivers. Sometimes I really want to throw my ZS out the window. If it wasn't for Creative's stupid monopoly on EAX and such, I would ditch the card in an instant.
