problems with ati x1650 agp

hey guys I bought a ati off a local here.... and cant seem to get it to work right.... when i first put it in with no drivers it seems to work fine... but as soon as i install any kind of driver for it and restart soon as windows gets to where its going to pull up the desktop I can see anything but fuzz and crazy lines... i have tried several diff driveres ect...

is is a asus x1650 pro agp
my mobo is asus p4s8x-x
and intel 3.0 p4
 
Are you installing the driver only, or the CCC? Have you tried the Omega's?
