A few months ago my monitor was much dimmer than it should be even though the brightness was set to maximum. I was finally able to get it fixed by updating to the latest ATI/AMD drivers. Yesterday my monitor became dim again so of course I upgraded my drivers. Thankfully this has fixed this dim monitor issue again, but now whenever I play Counter-Strike: Source quite a bit of the graphics in the game are pink. Before this upgrade I only occasionally had a few pink graphics which usually seemed to occur whenever I minimized the game and went back into it. Can anyone think of what the problem might be?

The pink hue is because in the color setting of the CCC the color "temperature" changed.

It is a known bug,


In Catalyst advanced mode >>> Desktops & Displays >>> Right click on the monitor icon at the bottom and choose Configure... >>> Color Tab at the bottom move the slider to 6500k iirc.

You have to put everything at default. If you move the saturation/hue/brightness/contrast setting on that page, the pink tint will still come back. At least for all of the 10.10 releases.
