Hey everyone, heres my issue.
As the title states, I have a 9600xt with a Viewsonic VX2025wm. I had it plugged into the DVI port but for whatever reason, the screen would just decide to go blank and the monitor would say no signal and become inactive. It would boot fine all the way untill the logon screen. When it gets to the logon screen it just goes blank and the monitor goes into sleep mode untill I log in. It will run ok for a few minutes and than go blank again.
I switched from Windows to Linux Fedora to see if it was a hardware issue and I no longer had the problem and things worked fine.
Right now I am back on windows but using the VGA port and I have had no hiccups yet. I can't think of a reason why It would only do this on the DVI port and only in Windows. Does anyone any ideas?
