I installed a asus p4p deluxe mobo and a gig of corsair 3200 today and my performance in counterstrike has seemed to be affected. before the upgrade, i would be a constant 100 fps and not drop below 60-70, but now it still goes to 100, but drops to 15-20 in smokes and stuff. im using omega 3.9 drivers, what do you guys think the problem is?
 
a lot of ati cards have problems with cs, try downloading te new patches and use either cat 3.4 or 3.5(im using 3.4 on my 9200 no probs wit it on cs), btw IM FROM NY TOO!
 
yeah, but the thing is, i wasnt have any problems with it before i installed the new ram and mobo. so im confused..maybe its just a setting but i dont know.
 
have you tried to remove the new ram and using the old ram and trying it out to see if its the new ram's problem?
