Problems Receiving/Sending Work Units

I am folding on a computer that is behind a proxy, it seems to download and upload somewhat randomly so what I was wondering was. Is there a way to download more than one work unit. It seems like every week I come back to work its only done 1 work unit because it couldn't get any more. It would be nice if I could fill a few more spots in the queue so it actually has something to churn on instead of sitting around doing nothing. Secondly it seems to have some problems sending some times and the only way I can get it to try again is to restart the client. Is there any other way to tell it to attempt to send again without waiting for it to try again in ??? number of minutes?
 
I have heard that there is a way, but I might be wrong. Goto the FAQ sticky at the top of the page and go to the folding community forum listed there. That site is visited everyday by the people who write the programs and administer the project. if the FAQ section there can't help you, then ask on that site and they will help.

Not quite the answer you were looking for but hopefully you are now pointed to the answer.
