I'm having some problems with my MP3 files lately. When I try to play them in Winamp, I get this popping sound every once in a while. Usually it occurs when I'm typing. I have a decent system (Barton 2500, Abit Nf7-s, using onboard Soundstorm audio, 1 Gig of XMS RAM) what could be the problem here? What can I do to fix it? I have tried WMP, and it seems to play them fine... but I've tried a bunch of different versions of winamp, and they all suck.
