Problems playing hd wm 9 videos

when I try to play the wm9 HD videos i get all bright pink yellow colors etc.
my system specs are
P4C
Intel865 perl MOBO with 1 gig 4sticks ddr400 dual channel
intel nic
audigy 1 card
Radeon 9700 pro with 4:10 drivers desktop is 32 bit all latest updates
C drive 40 GIG Maxtor PATA
D drive 2 ea WD 200gig PATA TX2000 promise fastrak Raid 1 array
Nec 2510a Dual layer DVD burner
I also have an AMD 64 System with XFX 6600GT agp it plays the videos fine

What is wrong here?
