Ok I've been following the guide and I just wanted to see what you guys thought about my overclock and maybe you can help me get it better? (specs are in sig, I use a XP-90 w/ Panflo to cool it)

I havn't started overclocking my ram yet, I am still at stage 2 of the OC'ing guide. The problem I am having is I can't seem to get over 2.5Ghz stabily even running at 1.5v. I have trouble getting over 2.4Ghz with less than 1.45v. I know this isn't normal (or maybe it is? :confused: ) so I wanted to see what you guys thought.

I don't know the stepping on my CPU, I had already mounted the HSF and put on the thermal paste when I remembered to get it and I'm lazy :(.

I am thinking maybe I need to flash my bios or get a better Power Supply. I will be happy to give out information to get a better OC.
 
You're not alone, I'm stuck at 240x10 using 1.45v. I've gone as high as 1.62v and my processor fails prime at 260x10 and 250x10. I've played with the memory dividers, memory timings, different BIOS versions, etc, and still can't get higher than 2400 Mhz.

One thing you can try is to use the memory dividers and try to keep your RAM speed as close to stock as you can while you overclock. I found my computer more stable doing this than to use the 1/2 memory divider when finding the max CPU.

My CPU is an LBBLE 0519, I think I may have a dud when it comes to overclocking. Good luck.

EDIT: How many watts is your PSU? DFI says you need at least a 480 watt for their motherboard.
 
I have a 450W Antec SmartPower 2.0 that came with the case.

I know it's not the 480W but I'm not trying to push a hardcore overclock and I'm not running a whole lot of stuff either. I don't even have that second Maxtor Harddrive plugged in at the moment. I runs great but I don't know.
