My last PSU died, so I installed the 610 EPS 12V PC Power
We have had a lot of T-storms here lately. I usually unplug all the hardware during lightning storms, but when the are possibility of tornado, I leave computer on to check all the radar images.
The power failed briefly and when the computer tried to reboot, everything was on, except there was no beep..no post..and the hard drive light was on constantly.
So I powered off with the power button and turned off the PSU and unplugged it for a few seconds.
Plugged the PSU back up. turned it on and the computer on and the computer booted fine.
This has happened before with this psu, but not with the previous enermax.
Pc power wrote back saying the PSU is working fine and the problem is most likely in the bios.
I haven't changed any settings in the bios.
What could be the bios setting that is doing this??
