Hi,

I just installed a brand new 5770 and I'm having some problems. I first noticed that the audio makes these cracks and high pitched noises while watching a fullscreen HD episode on spstudios.com after installing the card. Then the image completely froze while the audio didnt stop. I tried a few games and I didnt have any problems with them.

All this happened while I had XP so I installed Win7 to see if that would fix anything but sadly it didn't. The screen has gone blank multiple times (GPU usage peaked at 100% in Afterburner at that time) and then win says it has recovered the driver (10.3). I tried to google this problem and some people think its related to the Ati Powerplay feature.

Do you guys have any suggestion or should I just get a new one?
