Hi,
my problem with wmp is that everything I watch seems to have the outside border cropped off. I've searched the net and ms's help and support stuff but haven't found a thing that relates to this. The only changes that I have made to my computer that I am aware since this started to occur was probably installing a Haupage 150 pvr card, sage tv, and the nvidia dvd decoder. Now, this is similar to an issue that I had with sage tv at first. The way I fixed Sage was was by changing the video render from overlay to directx9 video rmixing renderer. Once that change was made, then the full tv image was viewable. i didn't touch media player for a few weeks and when I did, i found that the problem was now in wmp. I have tried reinstalling windows media player as well.

My system specs are
AMD 64 3000+
1gb ram
BFG 6800GT
Dell 2005fp

since you've reinstalled wmp, im guessing you have the latest version...
