Hi all

I have a problem with tv out on my laptop.

My laptop is Hp ze4927. it has an on borad Intel extreme on it.

Running XP pro with the latest Intel driver.

The problem is:

the laptop has an S.video output on him, So if I'm connecting an S.video cable to the T.v's S.video input everything is working great without any problem. the problem occurs when I am trying to use an adapter. S.video to Rca adapter. Because not on every T.V there is an S.video input so I need to use rca. I have 2 S.video to Rca adapters one with 4 pins and the other with 7 ping. I connected the Rca cable to the yellow Rca on the TV and the other end to the S.video to rca adapter. But when I use those adapters the laptop doesn't give me TV out.

I don't know why it doesn't working. Tried all the T.V in my house. on my other machine there is an Radeon 8500Le card the I am using the adapter(7 pin) that I got in his box without any problem I am seeing the computer on the tv . So the Rca and the adpater are fine.. My second adapter is from the Voodoo 3 3000 Card and aslo I succed to see the computer on the tv with the card and his adpater (4pin)

Why it does not work, the adapter needs to work without any problems..

Thanks all
