problem with tv-out and ati

i recently bought a new computer with ati display card everythink works except the tv-out.
i hava a kinda old tv without a s-video so i bought to my last computer (that had a nvidia card btw.) a two way cable with one end a scart and on the other svideo and two coaxil cables for stereo sound.When i used it with my old computer it wirst showed the picture in tv black and white but when i chose coaxil(maybe, could be wrong term dont remeber) and not svideo the picture came with color.everythink worked fine.but now with the ati card the drivers(catalyst) regonize the cable to svideo and there no options to switch it coaxil and the picture dont have colors.So how can i get colors on my tv-screen?

Did that cord come with the Nvidia card or did you buy it?

Do you know what a coaxial cable is? It is a cable that you screw in to your TV so that your TV can get cable.

If those audio plugs are red and white (or red and black) then they are called RCA cables.
 
im sorry about my grammar.wanted to watch movie and needed that problem to be fixed.
yes i know what is coaxil cable but i mixed that with rca.
no the cord didn't come with the nvidia card.my problem basicly is that i need some software for ati that changes the s-video signal to rca.
when i use a plain yellow rca i get colors in my tv, but cause the scart cord also has a white and red rca i was able to get sound in my tv and use my computer speakers also and get a quaraphonic sound 4.1.
