Hi - I just setup my friend's new Shuttle sv61g2. Unfortunately - when I turn it on - it just goes to a screen with the Pentium 4 logo and sits there. If I hit the del button it says "entering setup..." but does nothing more. Any ideas as to what is wrong? I can't figure it out. I tried clearing the cmos but that did nothing. Thanks!

Unplug all your drives (HDD, CD, Floppy). Also, try running with one memory module. Sometimes the SPD on the shuttles BIOS get the memory timings wrong and will hang at POST. You can also try resetting the CMOS via the mobo jumper. Also, make sure the video card is seated properly (AGP tab lock is clicked into place). Hope this helps.

I got it figured out - apparently it didn't like me leaving the hard drive on cable select...

Ive found that with my sb61g2 the same thing happens, it ONLY likes a slave/master setup where BOTH drives are actually there/powered
