problem with spdif out

I've got problem with conecting my computer to aplituner with spdif, when i do that there is low frequency noise. It is even when volumene is on minimum. What is more, i've got this problem with two computers (in one is sb x-fi, in second is sb audigy), with third computer there isn't any problem (there is sb live! ).

My computer:

I don't know if this will help, but sometimes if you move the soundcard to another pci slot the humm and static go away. Could be shielding problems.
 
moving soundcard to other pci would be dificult, because on my motherboard there are only 2 pci, and one is cover by zalman vf700 :/
 
spdif technically requires a proper 75 ohm cable, and some hookups can be very sensitive to problems if the impedance is mismatched. While you can get away using a plain old rca cable in some situatrions, other times they will introduce errors. Make sure you are using a 75 ohm cvable. This link has lots of info on spdif.

As spdif is a digital format, analog hum and static are not transferred in the signal itself, so I doubt moving slots or similar will help. However, there is a remote chance you have a ground loop problem, try making sure connected devices are plugged into the same outlet if you can and go from there.
