Problem with sound when oc

I've had this problem before and fixed if before but I am not able to do it now.

Basically I have a problem with all sound when I oc my comp and use windows.. its somethign to do with directx I'm sure.

I am using abit ic7 and p4 c 2.4

The way I fixed if before was getting something that replaced directx, I learned this worked through another forum, the problem is I can no longer find this "software" or forum.

Yes, I"ve tried to reinstall drivers, etc etc etc... the only thing that works is what I said above.. anyone have this problem before?
 
Difficult to say. Could be allot of things. Try locking the card like rollaguy said
 
Check out Abit forums, common problem with IC7. I think a bios update fixes the problem. Not to sure though.
