So I have my new system running, and for some reason whenever I try to use the monitors native resolution (1600x1200), the screen gets dancing bright pixels...almost like snow on your TV, but much less so, and primarily in the dark colors, black, brown, etc. Also, sometimes the monitor will just blank out for a few seconds, or minute, then come back. It seems very unstable at that resolution, but I should be able to run that resolution no problem...

I have a PNY Gforce 7600GT, not OC at all. This problem happens in games, at the windows desktop...pretty much anywhere. Sometimes it's stable for a few minutes if I don't do anything, but after a while the problem starts, and I have to switch back to 1280x1024, which sucks. I've talked to a Samsung level 1 tech, and he couldn't figure it out, so today I get to talk to a level 2 tech, but I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions?

yeah return it.

seriously, try new connectors and or a different video card to determine in fact it is the monitor. or take it to a local PC shop and see if they will hook it up real quick.

Well, for anyone else that may stumble across this problem, according to Samsung technical support, my DVI input into the monitor is not functioning properly, and the LCD is, in short, defective. Using an analog cable works fine, but it looks like I'll have to return it if I want DVI...
