First off, I have tried posting over at the official programs forums, but they won't keep me logged in to post, on any computer, so I am going to ask it here in hopes someone knows the answer.

When trying to benchmark my soundcard with the program, I get this: Link

I have adjusted the mixer like mad, and nothing will fix the problem. I have no idea what to do, as I am a relative Audio noob. The tests won't complete due to an error having to do with the input/output. No idea how to fix this, and there is no real help file with the program. If you have any knowledge about this, I would appreciate the help!

What is the sound card you are trying to test and what is the exact error you are getting?
 
I will never make a post without leaving out details :|

When I push Cancel, to get out of that graphing equalizer or whatever it is, it continues with the tests, then I get this:

The card is a Philips Ultimate Edge PSC724 5.1 card. I would link directly to the official page, but the Philips site seems completely unorganized.. I couldn't find one, hehe.

I have zero experience with that card so anything I could offer would be baseless speculation.
What sample rate are you trying to test at when you get the error?
Is it fair assume you do have a loopback cable... and are using it? :p
 
Loopback cable? Gah I feel like a noob.

I am using 24-bit/96kHz sample rate. I just wish the program had a freaking help file! Hehe, now to find out what a loop cable is :p

A loopback cable patches the output of the card back into the input..... otherwise you are cheating by using the internal loopback on the cards drivers (which bypasses the analog stage entirely)
