Problem with RAID Setup

When Im in the POST i hit Ctrl+l but i barely see the second screen to press Ctrl + l, and then it proceeds to the OS startup screen.

Also, i know you should do RAID setup with matching drives, but what are the Cons of not doing such

Look in the BIOS. There should be some type of option like "OS Delay" or "BIOS delay" or something, where you can add seconds to it.

Thats what i thought, but didnt see it at first. Ill dig a bit deeper. Will that apply to all BIOS messages?

Which RAID were you going with?

What HDDs are you thinking of using?

The biggest factor in the drives is matching size,cache size and spindle speed.

The RAID will be configured by the smallest drive size.

Well I was going to do a 0 and stripe my larger drives together. BUT, they are different makes and sizes. Ill just wait a couple weeks until i get my other drives.
