Problem With Plantronics DSP-500

I just recently purchased a Plantronics DSP-500 for gaming and At first they were working perfect on my IC7-Max3(connect thro USB) then I got a shuttle XPC SB75G2 and I get random Distorted sounds playing music or games and whatnot. I have no idea what going on. Anyone know whats up?
