Problem with Philips Aurilium

So I bought this thing on Ebay because I didn't want another Audigy NX after my last one took a shit. Supposedly refurbished. Problem is, i'm only getting sound from the front output jack. It shows in it's little autodetect that a 5.1 speaker system is hooked up, and when I pull a cord out of one of the non-working jacks it says invalid speaker configuration, but still no sound. There is no manual way to set the outputs, and it appears that Philips no longer supports the thing, online anyways. Is there something i'm missing, or is this thing just broke? I hope not, cause' it sure looks cool.
