Problem with Pc video card i think!!

Guys,
i own a self made pc with radeon saphhire HD5870 , 6 GB corsair ram, 1 tb black western digital hard drive,intel 1-7 930 cpu on an intel mother board .......a couple of days ago when i was using my pc it suddenly rebooted, but then it dd not switch on again but was in a reboot loop , with no display output!. i tried shutting the main power out and rebooting but it was to no avail..........what do you think it is because ?
 
do the basic stuff first.. unplug the psu and pull the cmos battery for a minute or so and put it back in and plug the psu back in and try it.. try pulling all the ram except 1 stick and try booting, try swapping that one stick with one of the others. if you have another card laying around check that, if you have another PSU laying around try that one.. eliminate everything else as the issue first then you should have a pretty good idea of what the problem is.
