Problem with PartionMagic

Hi everyone
I have little problem with creating new partion - I followed what was written in guide "how to create new partion" and when I click on "apply changes" nothing will happen except it will show some ad for buying full version - WTF?
Could someone help me please?

Try the Disk Management snapin: Start->Run->"diskmgmt.msc". Right-click the empty space and select "new partition". Follow through the wizard.
 
Are you trying to actually partition a disk with the "trial" version?

If so, that's the problem.. the trial version of PM will only "show" you what it can do, not actually do it. In order to make any actual changes with PM, you have to buy it.

A good free alternative is GParted. Use the LiveCD
