Hi, I got my new system yesterday (q6600, ip35pro, 4gb ballistix, 8800gts) and am having trouble bringing over my storage drive from my old computer. I am running vista 64 off my Raptor and have another 500gb sata drive; vista sees both of these drives fine. My problem is I hooked my old PATA drive (the only non SATA drive in my system now, if that makes any difference) and Vista sees it but won't let me do anything with it. When I look in Disk Management it shows up as offline and my only option is to convert it to a basic disk, which as I understand, will erase all my data. I looked around on Microsoft's help site and tried to activate it through the command line with no luck. I've made sure my connections are all secure, and have tried setting the drive both as the master and to cable select, neither one making any difference. I'm at a loss here, and any help would be very greatly appreciated.
