Hi, I would like a little help determining if this motherboard is bad.
When I first set the server up it would not read from the floppy drive and then the floppy drive started working and the DVD drive stopped working. I then flashed the bios to the newest version and everything seemed to be working. I got the OS installed and after a restart, I now get a degraded array message from the bios. After I rebuild the array and restart the server the OS will boot again. I have gotten this message many times now. The server seems stable if I don't restart it but I can't get though a full setup of the OS before getting an error from the bios.

I called Tyan and they seem to think I have a bad device on the IDE bus, but I have tried more than 1 floppy and CD-rom drive with no luck. I have also tried with no floppy or CD Rom.
The components listed below are what I cannot swop out because I don't have replacements parts.
Is this a bad motherboard or an incompatibility with my other hardware?
