The rig is in my signature, I thought this upgrade was going to blow me away compared to my last computer which was a 2.8 northwood. I never had this problem before but now all of a sudden my mouse randomly jumps...it is a wireless mouse but still that shouldnt be happening should it?

Is it a Logitech MX Laser? I know several logitech cordless mice do that to some degree. If you used the drivers in windows, try the ones for the mouse from the manufacturer. If you downloaded them, try the original ones from cd.

I quit using cordless mice because of the jumping and stuff like that. For me they've just been more of a pain than they are worth.

Its win xp, I reinstalled windows and now it seems fine...but it keeps putting my video card on the same irq as a bunch of usb ports, is that normal?

You will see your vid card on the same IRQ.
IRQ Steering in XP is "slightly" better than 98 :D

Mouse jumping is back but only when downloading things with azureus...hah i cant win
