Problem with my camera...

I have an Olympus Stylus Digital 400 and recentely on a trip, I just noticed that my 128MB xD card has seemed to have shrunken in size? Originally on SHQ, I could get 40 pictures from it, but now I only get 4 or so? What the hell happened? Should I format the card?
 
If you ever have a problem with your media, the first thing you should do is format it.
 
Why are you so scared to format it. :D I always format my cards after dumping the images to my computer.
 
Check your picture quality settings? The higher the quality setting, the least number of pictures you can store ...

You can use the camera to format it ...

If you have a card reader you can do that, but you should have a format option in your camera's menu.

Yea, I remember being able to store about 40 at the same setting that's only allowing me to store 4 now.

I'll format the card as soon as I get home tomorrow. Thanks guys!
