I am trying to set up multiple displays since I have a blue ray player in my computer rather than a stand alone. I set it up correctly and have everything working except there is one problem. When my bios is posting it shows up on my T.V, instead of my computer monitor. I can't figure out how to fix this. I disabled the multiple display, made sure my monitor is the primary monitor, but it still wants to boot up on my T.V.

I am currently using Windows Vista, I have a XFX Geforce 9800GTX+ . Anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?

Just one. The card has two outputs, one goes to the monitor, the other goes to the T.V

Well, that shoots my idea out the window. It may just be a quirk with your card that the video out port is the primary and the other is secondary.

Just by chance, is the TV connected via an HDMI port on your video card? If so then there's probably nothing you're going to be able to do about that really. Most PCs being used as a media center machine (IE connected to a TV only and not to a TV and monitor) will use the HDMI as the primary port so you can see that yes the machine is booting, no it's not, etc.

The T.V is DVI to HDMI. The monitor is DVI to DVI. I just thought about this so I will give it a try, but do you think if I just switched the output that the TV is in to the output the monitor is in and vice versa?

That should take care of the problem. You'll just have to remember to switch everything once Windows boots but that won't be a big deal.
