Hey Everyone, I bought a Gateway laptop (model MT6821) from BB about 3 weeks ago that was preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premuim. I don't think I ran a whole day with it ever since without it crashing at least once and most days it just crashed repeatedly. I got so fed up with it that I bought Windows XP Pro and I want to install that on it so that it is stable and I can actually use the laptop instead of just having it crash constantly. I use the laptop for work and have my business programs on it, but it is nearly impossible to use it since it crashes constantly. My problem is that when I try to install Windows XP Pro on it, in the Windows XP Pro Setup screen it says that "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer" and that "Setup cannot continue". Could it be that the Windows XP Pro setup cannot be seeing my hard drive? Does anyone know how I can solve this issue so that I can just install XP Pro on this computer and get it stable enough so that I can actually use it? Thanks to everyone who can help me with this issue in advance.
