I have been running this Diamond HD3870 for a wile now and it's worked great, however over the last week I set it up for use with my HDTV, and it worked fine for a week. After I got done watching a movie I tried to disable the cloned desktop from the TV but it would not let me (and it had a red "x" through my monitor), at the time I didn't pay much mind to it. However on reboot I had no display, turned on the TV and there is my desktop, for what ever reason it is no longer seeing my monitor. I can (after reboot) switch my monitor to the port that my TV is plugged into (if I leave the TV unplugged) and it will give me a display on my monitor, but not at the native resolution, and if I try and change it to the native resolution (1440x900) I get a msg from my monitor of "out of range". Tried cleaning out ATI drivers and reinstalling, but now I can't even get it to display on my TV.

Pretty new to all of this and I am at wits end with it, I have been sending e-mails and many "technical support tickets" over the last week to Diamond without a single reply for them. So any help or even wild ideas would be great. Thanks.

Have you gone into the TV settings menu of the Catalyst Control Center?

Yes, however there was nothing that helped. And since I uninstalled CCC and the ati drivers I can no longer install them again.

Ok, I was able to get it back up on my tv after changing it to on board and back to PCI, why it worked this time I don't know, and I reinstalled CCC and the ati drivers but without luck, still no display on my monitor.

I had same issues where monitor displays and HDTV didn't. Finally got it to show on HDTV now and now monitor doesn't.

Well, I guess I don't need help anymore, Got in touch with Diamond and they had not a clue either, so I got a RMA.

Thanks anyway.
