Hello I am having some trouble with my hard drive. It is a 4 TB Seagate and it has 2 partitions on it.

When I connect it to my desktop one of the paritions shows up no problem and it lets me go into its folders.

The other partition which contains most of the data gives me the following error message

" You need to format the disk in drive I: before you can use it. "

and then I am not able to double click and go into the folders.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to get the data off of that hard drive? or to possible get that partition working again?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I had a few freeware programs I've used in the past but I'm at work and forget their names.
