Problem with Enclosure

gotta a bit of a problemo here.

using an ARC-4036 expander here. it has some ssds in it (8x 128 GB wildfires)

it has expander ports on the rear of it that allow for daisy chaining of devices, etc.
connected to the rear of these ports is a few EFD (Enterprise Flash Drives) actually 4 300GB Pliant drives. these are using some specialized cables, dual port cables. these drives operate using true wideport, which my enclosure does not support.

on the 9265 it recognizes the enclosure and also detects the daisy chained drives. works very well, i can pull 465000 IOPS off of the EFD's.

however, testing with the Adaptec 6805 i am having issues. it isnt seeing the daisy chained drives.

any ideas at all guys? open to anything.

here is a pic at the very bottom of this page of the config im running:

Man you are playing with hardware way out of the price range and expertise of many members here.

The 6805 which I run may not detect the drives if you have bios set to backplane auto, try changing and see what happens. Just a wild guess.

yea i did try to change the backplane settings to both sgpio and IC2. neither seems to work, god i hate messing with tech support!

Oh you just wanted to make another thread showing off your pr0nware. ;)
