I agreed to purchase a HDD from him on March 26th. I paypalled him the money and he said it was shipped out, but it's 10 days and I still haven't received anything. I have PM'd him numerous times to no avail- he's ignoring all of my attempts to contact him. I've sent about 4 PM's in the last week or so and the seller has ignored me, despite this

I dont know what to tell you. He just started selling last year around October. People with "noobie" status selling stuff always scare me. For my trades, anyone "newish" on a forum I always make ship first. His heatware shows the same. He only has 3 feedbacks. Ewww. I would have definitely had him ship first before payment.

Yes you are correct, his last activity was yesterday. So that does not look promising. However, some people just dont look at pms when they come on. Doesnt necessarily mean he is a bad trader. Of course doesnt mean he is a good trader either.


I think you were right to file the paypal claim. At least might get his attention.

I rather always respond and try to have people i deal with feel safe than have them worry over something as easy as hitting the reply button + typing a few words. After reading that post i honestly would never ever try to make a deal with you.

You guys that are new to the forums should try to deal people with higher reputation so things like this most likely won't happen. Not saying the new guy will always try to rip you off but it would be less likely that somebody that already has a good reputation would do this. Good luck with getting your money back or receiving the item.

good for you one less person to deal with on my end, I have people that buys things from me that start sending 9 pms a day wondering where there stuff is, after only 4 days, Id rather not tell them the obvious and let them figure it out themselves, if they paid for 7 - 10 day shipping then why expect a package to be at there door 4 days later. I do my best to let people know I shipped, but Im not gonna reply to someone that is as impatient as a little kid wanting to go to the candy store.

i pm'd him 1 time (scrogathon) about a week after a sale and no response. I dont remember seeing anything about 7-10 day shipping anywhere.... paid on April 5, 2007 now the 17 and still no package,

delays should be expected once in a blue moon, but ten days is long enough, sometimes Im a bit late on shipping things, only around 2-3 days, but I either make up for my lateness with faster shipping than paid for, or just explain the situation and it usually goes well.

I like the 10 days thing as mine has been longer. all i got from him was some screwy reason and "tough luck". We'll see if it has expedited shipping.
 
Received stuff from Dylan today. All things are perfectly working, no problems at all.
