Problem with Dual DVI KVM Switch

So I just bought a DVI KVM switch for dual displays to two different computers. It's controlling two Chimei 22" wide displays and they're going to two machines which both have QuadroFX cards. The KVM brand is Linkskey, it's the one of two KVMs for this purpose on Newegg.

The problem I'm currently occasionally encountering is this: The setup works fine for a while and looks great, but sometimes without any warning the displays of one machine will go absolutely blank. The machine will remain on, and switching the displays to the other machine will function fine, but the KVM otherwise does not recognize a signal coming from the problem machine (which happens to be eithe at any given time). Turning the machine off and fully powering it down (unplugging and pushing the power button) will usually fix this problem. Can anyone think of why this would happen? It really cramps my style when I'm doing work for a client and lose like fifteen minutes of work to non-functioning displays.

Thanks!
