Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Sometimes when I turn on my PC, this notification appears.
I was wondering if there is a way to disable this certain window from popping up, as it has become annoying to hit Ok on every startup.
Thanks
I never have that window popping up when I turn my PC on. Some program must be running and it needs to be set as default or something. Either that or you need to go through and verify that all you default apps are setup. Otherwise, disabling it would be sort of like putting a piece of tape over the idiot light on the dashboard of your car. (Ignoring the problem would not fix it. )
perhaps chrome? I know on windows 7, chrome runs as a background process at startup if you allow it. If you do the same in 10, without setting chrome to default browser, it MAY be responsible.
