What do i do? is the battery dead? I took the battery out and put it back in but that did nothing? any suggestions?

Start tapping it like a woodpecker on crack as soon as you hit the power button. Holding it doesn't always register.

UPDATE, After talking to the first poster on AIM, we have conluded I am not able to get to the post screen and when i try to flash bios with a bootable disk I get a Disk I/O Error
