Problem with CDROM

Ok, I recently installed W2k and just got everything working fine (updates and all). And now my cdrom doesn't work sometimes. The computer can see it, but it won't read disks. If I reboot it will work again. I reinstalled drivers and nothing.... anyone know wtf is going on?

Try a windows repair or just reformat again.

try the drive in another system...

Think MS has a fix for that. Is it a CDRW?

Its just a regular 52x cdrom.
