Hey guys,

I just got my x800 xt pe in my computer and as far as i know, therea re no hardware problems. however, when i tried to install the ver 5.6 drivers, i get an error stating that CLI failed to initialize properly. this means that i can't access the ATI control panel to change settings. and well, whats the use of having such a card if you cannot play with the settings.


any ideas on how to fix this?

edit, oops, these are the 5.8 drivers im talking about, not the 5.6's, sorry.
 
yes.

the 5.7's seemed to work, dont know why they did and not the 5.8's, but oh well. been playing far cry since then, this thing is amazoring.
 
did you delete the .Net account that windows automatically installs onto your computer?......

also try re-installing the new 1.1 .Net framework pl0x....

edit: im also sure that the 5.8's are also made just to optimize the x800xt in BF2...

/me sticking with the 5.7's until something acctually useful for my x800xl comes out....
