Problem with Astro A50 - broken sound after moving USB port

I have a new Astro A50 which was working perfectly until I decided to move the USB cable. Afterwards I got silence, then broken sounds if I selected the digital output. I found a video on Youtube that showed me how to get clear sound on that port, but that means that I've only got stereo, not the virtualised surround sound I had before. Selecting Astro A50 as the output device produces silence. How do I fix it?
 
You have one of those fancy charge-dock ones? You've got to play with your bluetooth devices. Disable and re-enable, reconnect...

For me, atleast, I had to.

It's why I returned it.
