Hello there
I just bought 2 of those controllers, used the drivers on the cd (and later tryed the ones online) and was all good

But when ever a harddrive is attached during boot i get the following image and it get stuck, pressing space or cntr+m dont do anything

I don't see the image you alluded to, can you try re-attaching it?
 
When you unplug the HDs can you get into the BIOS of the card? If so what are the options?

there is no options... it literally only displays the hard drives attached to each controller ( the controller has no raid options )
 
try booting with just the 2TB attached, then with the 3TB
also the card does have firmware you can get into for options
 
I had issues with my older card but that was two years ago so I am a little foggy on how I fixed the issue. I remember I could not run my OS through the card and also had to turn off I think it was called HDMA or something like that in the computer's BIOS for it to start working

update:
didnt find any thing related in the ASUS bios advanced options.... what else do you recommend trying :D

I don't know what to tell you. There has to be a setting in the card's BIOS that is set wrong. We know your computer's BIOS is correct now.
 
Ok i just tryed disabling "int 13h" option on both controllers, it passed the stuck stage but windows never pass "starting windows" screen without crashing and restarting the pc
 
what is your OS disk attached to? You can't run it off of this card. Plug it into one of your motherboards ports

i tryed it with 9 HDD... it failed at starting windows screen... moved back to 1 HDD..... same thing

i guess it was a fluke
