problem with a computer ... critical errors ... please HELP!

well, my father's company bought a computer and since then, it has a problem ...
time to time ( ... like, sometimes 10 in 10 minutes ... or 60 in 60 min ) i can listen a click inside the computer ... it freezes ... and a critical error appears ... i thought it was the motherboard and i sent it to the store .... ok, they got a new motherboard to replace this one ( at the time i sent the mobo, it died ... i don't know if burned if it was me trying to get the graphic card "gently" that damaged the board ) ... now i received the computer and ... the click appeared ... and freezed!!! now, can this be the PSU ? i really don't know ... changed the harddrive ... changed the motherboard ... the memories are working fine ... now it can only be the PSU or the CPU ...

send it back to the manufacturer and have them replace the whole unit ... if that's not feasible ... then the PSU id the only thing you have not changed ...

You have to find what that clicking sound is ... not sure what harddrive you use ... but with most new computers nowadays, the fan should be the only thing that makes a noise ...

Also ... have you reinstalled the OS after you changed all those components?

Drivers are all installed?
 
yes, everything is installed. The hardrive is new ... the motherboard is new ... fans ... well ... i really don't know about the fans ... but i'll replace my fan with a new one i have @ home just to check it up!
 
Download a free program like Motherboard Monitor 5 and check the voltages. Does this happen when the computer is in a load or all the time? Might want to try a memory tester like Memtest86 and see if the RAM is shot.
 
or a wire hitting a fan....or a cdrom or something

EDIT: my friend had this problem too....he bought a cheap ass 420watt powersupply for like 10 bucks and it made a clicking noise. He'd wack it and it would stop. More then likely it's the ps.
 
it's gotta be the psu the clicking is probably something in the powersupply hitting it's fan. replace the psu with a friends and then try it.
