problem with 9800GX2

I recently disassembled a 9800GX2 to replace the TIM, and after I put it back together only one of the gpu's are getting power (the one with the 6-pin connector). A couple people have told me to "check the sli bridge" which appears in tact. As this is the second gpu in a quad sli setup the working gpu receiving power is actually detected in windows and even appears as a tri sli setup. What else can I check to get the other gpu to power on?

Sorry not to offer anything new, but when I had a similar problem with my GX2 it was the sli bridges that weren't connected properly, even though they seemed to be in place.

Yeah I just saw the one not in place. Do I just press the connection down back into place?

Yah, place it over the connector and press until you hear a click. Just make sure they don't get ripped out when you put the heatsink back. Might be easier to attach them to one pcb first then put the heatsink on before attaching them to the second pcb.
