For a few months i was using my monitor as my main display with the desktop extended onto my TV, but it caused alot of problems while playing video games, so i stopped using the TV. Now i want to use them both again, but i've been having problems. I can get the TV to work, but it will only display what i have on my monitor. When i try to extend my desktop onto the TV or change the resolution, all i get on the TV is that lovely white and black garbage. I havn't changed anything since i last used this setup, except for updating the drivers for my AIW 9700 Pro. Is there any way i can fix this?

You didn't mention which cables your using, but as a rule if it's an "S" cable low chroma level is the cause of black and white. Or, a bad cable...Or..you have a TV with low tollerence. I have found this on a number of TV sets, varies from set to set more then model or maker. Try a diff cable, maybe shorter.

I thought the 9600 aiw was the only ati card that allowed for dual monitor displays (with one as a TV)
